Within the remote village of Aberon, rumors swirl of a werewolf, residing in the nearby forest and endangering the locals. Expecting nothing, the village's hunter, Michail, sets out to disprove the magical beast's existence... only to come face to face with him, on one moonlit night. When the two begin talking, however, Michail finds himself quite charmed by the werewolf, and his foreign way of life. With every conversation, every bit of information that he manages to claw from the beast, Michail's convictions about his own life start to waver. Why is it that the villagers fear the power of magic so much? Why is it that he's soon getting married, when even his own fiancee knows damn well that he has no interest in her?
