Neil, a boy raised by the followers of the Shan Orthodox Church, is about to take part in his coming-of-age ritual. During the ceremony, he witnesses the church’s dark and disturbing side and meets a mysterious boy named Aithes, awakening in him a strong desire to protect him. As Neil investigates the hidden secrets of the church, he gradually sinks deeper into its darkness, blurring the line between faith, sin, and obsession.
